Liverpool Print Fair

So during all the mayhem of Liverpool Music Week we decided to take part in Liverpool Print Fair but what’s more, Scott helped to organise the fair along with the guys from The Print Social.  So, as you can imagine it was a pretty testing couple of weeks at the Toucan Tango headquarters!  BUT we got through it, even managing to enjoy ourselves along the way too.

The fair was held at The Bluecoat which is always a great spot in town to draw in the public and entice them with printed goods.  Such a good turn out too, it was busy all day with lots of people coming and going and giving lovely feedback.

My favourite story of the day was surrounding a gentleman who had come in with his wife to have a look around and made a bee-line for our stall.  He asked to buy the Everything Everything poster and so I explained to him that the band were playing that night but he told me he wasn’t actually interested in the band, he wanted to buy it because he used to work in the Invisible Wind Factory way back when it was a working factory.  We appreciated his honesty and loved his reason for buying the poster.  It just shows how differently people look at artwork and we love that!

Thanks so much to everyone that dropped by to browse, say hello, purchase our items and give us really kind feedback, it makes all the hard work worth it!

A massive thanks to Scott and The Print Social for organising and delivering such a great event.  Well done guys!
